The main objective of this study was to investigate the effect of nano silica on mechanical, thermal, and morphology properties of nano-composites made of wood and PVC waste wood. For this purpose, PVC waste (50% by weight), wood flour (50% by weight), nano silica (at 4, 0, 3, 6 and 9% by weight) and maleic anhydride bonded with polypropylene at a constant level of 3 The percentages were mixed with two-rolled extruder (two arches) and standard test specimens were made using an injection press. Then, mechanical, thermal properties were measured. Also, in order to study the structure and operation of nanosilica particles, the morphology of the nanocomposite was investigated by electron microscope (SEM). The results showed that with increasing nano silica content up to 3% by weight, tensile and flexural strength, bending and tensile modulus, increased composite, then these properties decrease by adding up to 9% by weight of nano silica. On the other hand, by increasing the amount of nano silica to 9% by weight, the impact resistance of the cigarette is reduced, the composite decreases. As the nanosilica increases, the thermal stability increases to 9%, and the amount of coal remains higher. An examination of the electron microscopic images showed that with increasing nano silica, weaker adhesion was observed, but also less cavities and empty spaces.
